What We Do

To perform, support and/ or promote research and development (R&D) activities:
Research & Development activities in human rights, employment, income generation, gender based violence, women empowerment, sustainable development, internal displacement, external migration, poverty alleviation and good governance.
Participatory research and better utilization of the expertise, experience and services of researches, professionals, entrepreneurs and stakeholders.
Develop research facilities to enhance the efforts and initiatives for poverty alleviation, women empowerment, sustainable development, resource mobilization and good governance.
Perform activities and seek international cooperation on all aspects of poverty alleviation, women empowerment, sustainable development, resource mobilization and good governance.
To facilitate human resource development through need based training to the vulnerable group of the society.
To undertake survey, study and consulting activities non-government departments/ institutions/ organizations and other public or private agencies inside the country and abroad;
In undertaking programs and activities relevant to the objectives provided herein, the Company may complement or supplement the activities of other existing institutions in the public or private sectors;
To publish leaflets, brochures, booklets, books, monographs, magazines and journals in prints or electronic forms for promotion and protection of human rights and gender based violence.
To facilitate incentives in the form of grant, donation in cash or in kind for sustainable production and income generation by organizing the poor people;
To raise mass awareness of the importance of environment protection and disaster management and their critical link to economic development and adopt strategies as may expedient;
To promote entrepreneurship development comprising of non-farm activities through target HRD programmes, training and visit, and capacity building of the beneficiaries;
To explore potential sectors of employment generation with special emphasis on vulnerable segments of rural and urban slum areas;
To buildup social awareness on gender based violence;
To undertake initiatives and realistic activities for gender sensitization with an aim to eradicate social injustice against women;
To establish in any place in Bangladesh such offices, agencies and local units as may be necessary for managing any of the affairs or business of the company and improve and maintain such office facilities.
Facilitate sustainable funding for research and development in poverty alleviation, human rights, women empowerment, employment generation and environment.
